That raises a few red flags with me and I am not willing to chance it, but I am curious if anybody has. The entire web site looks like it was hastily put together, almost fake.

The same tool is available on Amazon for $10 more right now but the QA section section indicates that it's a no go with GM anything newer than 2013.

Even gmtoolsandequipment doesn't list support for the 2nd Gen Colorado/Canyon.

So what's the deal, does the EL-50448 really work on these trucks?

It arrived in one week and was well packaged in a plastic bag inside a cardboard box inside a USPS bag. Put a 9V battery in it and used it on my 2016 Canyon SLT. It worked perfectly using the procedure described earlier in this thread. The device is heavy and appears well made. I must say I was astonished with the quality of the thing and the fact it was $50 cheaper than the orange one recommended by GM.
I ordered one also and had the exact same experience as Dorsey. I had it in a few days after placing the order and used it yesterday on my 2016 Colorado Z71. The turn signal at the corner of the truck will light while that TPMS is reset. Well worth the $27. Thanks RatRacer for posting this deal!
